    Since this lesson, my mind goes round and round, I can’t stop it.

    I see it two ways :
    – in each room, I need to list what I wan’t to do in it, and give it the functions well defined, etc.
    – and the other way around, I need to list the activities I want to do but I don’t, find the room which suits it well.

    Thank you so much Rima for making this solution so obvious, simple and the elegant way… I keep asking me this question since the beginning of the CYHCYL : why don’t I do those things I want to do deep down, that are in the representation of my ideal life, why I just don’t ???

    This is so clear now why I don’t do the yoga I dream of doing more often … just because I haven’t set the perfect place for it, and make everything accessible so that I don’t even have to think of it, just do it because it invites me to !

    This module helds right its name CLARITY finaly 🙂
    And it means, I also have to settle space in my schedule as well !

    Naja, this is a very astute observation: “not-working-optimally-but-not-dysfunctional-enough-to-do-something-about-it state. Yikes. That must be the worst state, if striving for improvement.”

    This IS the worst state, because it keeps things lukewarm… how many lives, things, relations, projects are stuck in that stale state for far too long, because they bobble on safely under the pain-threshold, but not better than that?

    This one feels as if I’m very far from the ideal. Not because it is unclear or hard to get there, just that many of the things I have on my to-do list will address the problems that arise when things are not organized like this.

    I also already took the advise, grabbed a empty box and stuffed most of the things needed for a virtual meditation course and placed it next to my meditation spot. Now they have a home and location, until the course ends and they revert back to their normal locations. It feels very clear and good, especially knowing that I wont have to dart around the apartment last minute to find x before a session starts.

    Working on the living room though!
    The next major thing here is getting the home office optimized. It is working, it just does not have the things needed for the activity – only the minimal things, which leads to never ever wanting to start paperwork and it has lead to a substantial backlog. Thus it is very clear why it is stuck in the not-working-optimally-but-not-dysfunctional-enough-to-do-something-about-it state. Yikes. That must be the worst state, if striving for improvement.
    I am taking some action on this and planned to hire a handyman to help. Upon hearing this, one of my friends adamantly held the position of “we can do this!” and I both really want to create it with her and just want it done quickly at the same time. I guess this leads very nicely to the next lesson and decision time! :’)

    Oh, my zones for the living room:
    * Good company and deep conversations
    * Watch netflix
    * GuaSha (in front of netflix)
    * Exercise
    * Work/computer related activities

    I currently read in bed before going to sleep, but it would need the same elements as “good company and deep conversations”, so should I decide to change that, it’ll be covered.
